I don't use a lanyard or case, nor screen protector... because I dropped it badly the day I bought it, so I didn't care less how it looked after. It's not really more 'flimsy', just feels plasticky because of less metal parts and the different quality/finishing of the plastic being used I guess. As far as I know, there's no competing sat nav products that offer downloadable maps for almost every country so it's already a winner in that sense. Maybe I was unlucky compared to you. Still got a plastic protective film on the screen, but what the hell uh? If E72 is more flimsy I´m less likely to upgrade when contract expires despite the free maps offer. Why? because the competing phone is likely to have a data plan anyway so im more tempted to switch to an Android handset. And I´ll get a stronger lanyard.
